New In Shop Monday!

Good morning readers!

What's new this week at Bisou Bisou Beads? Well, I've been buying up lots of new image sheets to make Scrabble pendants. A friend suggested that I make some rockabiliy/pin up inspired jewelry so I got some great pin up girl images.

I'm going to make some of those great pendants this afternoon and will post them in the shop soon. I've run out of sections so they'll be put in the "Other" category.

New Items Mondays

Hey readers! From now on, I have a little bit of a schedule made up for what I'm going to post each day of the week. I think it'll help me be more active and keep the blog more up to date. Monday's posts are going to be New Items in my shops.

As you know, I have two shops, Bisou Bisou Beads and october102006 In the first shop, I have altered art pendants, including Scrabble pendants. In the second, I have handmade bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and more.

Today in Bisou Bisou Beads, I posted a new Scrabble pendant. It's one of the custom initial designs where you tell me what initial you want and I make it especially for you. It's super cute, black and white damask with pink trim. I absolutely LOVE this pendant!








In my other shop, I posted two new items, a pair of Twilight inspired earrings and a pretty pearl bracelet. I love the bracelet and the earrings are perfect for Jacob Black fans.

More new goodies!

Hey everybody!

I made some great new Scrabble pendants yesterday and I just love all of the new designs. For these, I just found a bunch of cute pictures online and edited them for the pendants. They are totally random pictures but some of them include Tree Hugger, Not in Kansas, and Fish are Friends.

Alice in Wonderland

Hey everyone! I hope everybody's week is going great! :o)

I'm happy to say finals are over and I've decided to spend the summer break working exclusively in Bisou Bisou Beads! Woohoo!

Today, I uploaded 19 new Scrabble pendants, all Alice in Wonderland theme! They are soooo cute and perfect for fans of the book, Disney movie, or Johnny Depp movie! There's the Red Queen, the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, the Cheshire Cat and more! Check 'em out and let me know whatcha think! ♥

New, new, new!

Well, it's that time again. Finals are just around the corner and the whole student body is going insane from too much studying and not enough sleep. I've been working in my Etsy shop these past few days to get some much needed stress relief!

How does this pertain to you, you ask? Well, I've got some GREAT new designs listed and have a ton more to come! :D As of right now, I have all of my necklaces and about half of my bracelets listed. Earrings, Twilight-inspired designs, and "other" are coming soon.

I've also been feeling pretty creative lately. I got this awesome bag of broken vintage jewelry at the church yard sale this past weekend. There is so much cool stuff in there- the ideas are just bubbling over as to what to make with it all! See the old cameo? I think that's my favorite!

I haven't done much beading lately but I'm going to have some free time soon (hopefully!) and I'll be working my little fingers off! I have so many great ideas in my head but I just never have the time, materials, or cash to make them a reality. It's the sad truth of being a college student, unfortunately.

Anyways, I just thought I'd share with y'all what I've been up to lately. Check out my necklaces and be on the lookout for new goodies coming soon!

New Shop!

Hey everyone!

For a while now, I've been considering opening a second Etsy shop. Well... I finally did it! It's very minimal right now but please check it out! I'll be moving all of my Scrabble Tile Pendants and DIY Scrabble Tile Images there and will be listing new custom stamped jewelry there, too. Check back this weekend for examples of my stamped jewelry.

Of couse you can still shop at my original store, too!

I'm quite proud of my newest additions to my Etsy inventory. I have 5 new items listed today, including the adorable Grape Cluster Earrings and the beautiful Enchanted Evening Wire Wrapped Necklace. My creativity flourished this weekend. :)

Urban Dictionary: "Claire"

A friend pointed out in a Facebook note what "Claire" means according to Urban Dictionary. You'd have to know me to know how exact this description is but I wanted to share anyways.

"one who is unique, short, funny, and really clumsy. a unique independent person who knows how to have a great time, extremely funny and outgoing. she has lots of friends and is always there for them."

I pride myself on being unique, I'm 5'3, I'm not sure about funny...., I'm extremely clumsy (aka Grace when a kid), etc. Crazy accurate.

My first blog!

Hey everyone! So this is my first blog...ever. lol I feel out of the loop!

So a little about me. I'm a college student who's looking to make a name for herself in the jewelry design world. I'm majoring in marketing and business and I one day hope to open my own jewelry/ beading shop. I sell my designs at http://october102006.etsy.com/ currently.

I plan to blog frequently; every day if I can manage it! I'm going to talk about my favorite designs, shops on Etsy, suppliers, or any other jewelry-related stuff I happen to think of.

I LOVE Twilight and I'm currently obsessed with designing Twilight jewelry so I expect to review a lot of shops that sell Twilight designs, too!
